Applications
Drinking water from challenging sources

HFNF tackles the toughest organics — humic acids and natural organic matter — that drive colour, taste, and disinfection by-product formation. By removing >95% of colour and TOC without coagulants or sludge, utilities can reliably produce safe, stable drinking water even from difficult surface or groundwater sources.



Industrial and reuse applications

HFNF is proven on demanding industrial waters with high COD or colour loads, reducing chemicals, energy use, and overall treatment costs. Where project water quality requires it, HFNF can also serve as an effective pretreatment step for RO, consistently delivering low-fouling feedwater (SDI < 3) and protecting downstream membranes.
