Ultrafiltration membranes

Our solution for RO pre-treatment, potable water production, wastewater treatment, and food and beverage applications.

Our Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes are the best choice for retaining micro-organisms, yeast and suspended particles, while salts, proteins and smaller organic molecules can pass the membrane. Our UF membranes are based on modified PES chemistry resulting in excellent chlorine tolerance and pH stability. The membranes are operated ‘inside-out’, in semi dead-end or cross-flow mode, providing perfect control of the membrane fouling rate.

As part of our ultrafiltration offering, we supply the HYDRAcap series for various applications. Please click here to read more.

Applications
Our UF modules are used in a wide range of applications, varying from reverse osmosis (RO) pretreatment, potable water production, wastewater treatment, and food and beverage applications. Besides our own series of 4 inch WMC110 and 8 inch WMC200 modules we offer plug and play UF replacement modules for various brands.
Product specifications
Our UF150 membranes are based upon PES/PVP chemistry. They have smaller pore sizes than most of the widely used UF products in the water market, resulting in a more stable filtration process, higher virus log retention and reduced pore blocking. They realize a stable permeate flow rate, also on high fouling feed waters.

Our UF010 membranes are based on a unique, novel polymer chemistry resulting in extremely robust, high pressure resistant membranes with such a narrow pore size distribution that they are, for example, capable of removing colloidal silica. This makes them ideally suitable for boiler feed applications, but also for production of ultrapure water, where they can be operated at relatively high trans membrane pressures in combination with high temperatures if required.
