About us
NX Filtration is growing rapidly and has unique technology for global water quality and quantity challenges. Our mission is: "pure and affordable water for all". We therefore produce advanced hollow fiber membranes for use in nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration applications, enabling our partners to excel in sustainable membrane filtration applications.

Our membrane technology filters the smallest contaminants from water such as nanoplastics, organics, dyes, drug residues, bacteria and viruses. This has resulted in new and simple processes for water treatment, wastewater reuse and drinking water production. Our rapidly growing production now takes place in Enschede. In 2024 an entirely new, very modern state of the art plant will be commissioned in Hengelo.

NX Filtration’s founder Erik Roesink is professor at the University of Twente leading the chair Advanced Membranes for Aqueous Applications. He researches polymeric membranes, including the development of novel membranes and the application of membrane technology for water treatment, membrane bio-reactors and waste water treatment. NX Filtration has a strong network of Academic partners.
